"If I hadn't tried... the cost would have been my soul." --Sarek and Kirk, Star Trek III [link] Despite my overall distaste for the way Paramount handled Star Trek III (they should have left Spock dead! It's the whole point of the Wrath of Khan, "sometimes you lose"! But now they go and fix things so Kirk wins! WTF?), I do adore Star Trek III and the epic levels of Spirk therein. To what lengths will someone go for love/friendship? What are you willing to sacrifice for another person? Will you go to the ends of the universe searching for a way to save the one person who means more to you than anything? |
